At Keller Postman, Nicole’s practice focuses on product liability matters. She sits on the Law & Briefing Subcommittee in the 3M Combat Arms Earplugs MDL—one of the largest group litigation matters in the United States—and is a member of the Plaintiffs’ Executive Committee for the Paragard IUD MDL.
Nicole manages her MDL leadership responsibilities while also overseeing the litigation of the firm’s individual client matters across the 3M Combat Arms Earplugs MDL, Zantac MDL, and Paragard IUD MDL, among others.
Before joining Keller Postman, Nicole worked in litigation finance, first as an analyst at Gerchen Keller Capital and then, after its acquisition, as Vice President at Burford Capital. In those roles, Nicole analyzed legal and regulatory issues to make investment decisions, gaining significant insight into a wide variety of practice areas and types of legal claims.
Nicole also was an associate at Jenner & Block LLP, where she represented clients in complex and federal litigation at the trial and appellate levels, as well as in internal and regulatory investigations. Prior to attending law school, Nicole was a senior options trader at Peak6 Investments.
Nicole was named a 2021 Notable Rising Star in Law by Crain’s Chicago Business. She is also listed on Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers, the National Trial Lawyers’ Top 100, and Illinois Super Lawyers.
Nicole served as a law clerk to Judge Jay Bybee of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She earned her law degree from the University of Illinois, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Illinois Law Review and graduated summa cum laude. Nicole earned her master’s degree in financial mathematics from the University of Chicago and her undergraduate degree in mathematics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
